Emma is a pet parent, certified dog warden and has numerous years of experience in dog training and sitting for all types of pets. This experience ensures an expert and stress-free pet service.

Dog Training

Properly training your dog is imperative for behaviour management, socialisation and safety.

Emma is professionally trained to work with all types of dogs from aggressive to nervous. Emma’s bespoke training programmes are individually designed and adapted to improve your dog’s behaviour and skills. If you have more than one dog they can be trained at an additional cost of $10 per dog.

Dog Walking

Exercise including walking is essential to your dog’s health and wellbeing.

Emma is a personable and confident dog walker, available to walk your dog locally. If you have more than one dog they can be walked at an additional cost of $10 per dog. All walks will be on leash and will include basic training to walk-to-heel, sit and wait.

Are you out and about or at the office all day while your pet is left at home?

Emma is available to visit your pets during the day. She will meet their needs such as being fed, toiletted and entertained. Emma can visit once, or for an extra $20, twice a day.

House Sitting

Keep your pet in the comfort of their own home while you’re away. Emma is available for overnight pet and house sitting; she is an expert when it comes to caring for your pet. Your pet and home will be well looked after, photo updates can be sent if requested.

A bit more about Emma

Emma is trained in dog behaviour and has experience training and walking many different breeds including Miniature Yorkies, Terriers, Papillons, Japanese spitz, Rottweilers, Bulldogs, Dobermans and many more.

“The first dog I trained to walk properly on a lead was a Rottweiler that weighed more than I did, but after a couple of walks he was a champion – no more pulling, he was a proper gentleman.”

Emma truly understands the individual needs of dogs and other pets. Listening and learning about each animal’s unique character is vital for creating a good bond and making sure that the animal feels safe with what, at first, will be a stranger.

Emma will arrange a free meet and greet for you and your pet before your bookings are confirmed. Emma uses positive and balanced training techniques that are not harmful to your pet in any way.

This is a provisional request not a booking. Emma will be in touch to arrange a meet and greet and confirm your booking.

Cancellation Policy
Please be advised that cancellations made up to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment via text or phone call will be processed without penalty. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a full service charge minus any travel charges.
This includes appointments where our service provider is unable to access the property, is turned away, or the client is a no-show.
If Training Tails cancels an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a new appointment will be scheduled without penalty to the client, subject to availability.
